Lactic acid casein
With its high protein level, lactic acid
casein is used for protein fortification in health drinks and
beverages. It is also useful as a coffee whitener. It has good
nutritive values and is low in fat and cholesterol. This product
has an excellent balance of essential amino acids. It is very
versatile and heat stable.
Typical composition includes:
Protein 87.5% (98.3% on a dry basis)
Moisture content 11.0%
Fat 1.0%
Cream coloured with a bland flavour and a clean smell
Mineral acid casein
Mineral acid casein is an edible casein
particularly suited in infant formula applications. The product is
low in sodium and provides an excellent balance of valuable amino
acids
Versatile and heat stable, it has a very good nutritive value
combined with low fat and cholesterol levels.
Useful in infant formula, protein fortification and as a coffee
whitener
